Main responsibilities

Dedicated to overcoming the barriers that arise between software development and operations teams during the code release process.
Design, implement and maintain the production pipeline from development to production sandboxes CI/CD.
Automate: build, test, deploy, artefact-version-backtrace etc.
Design and implement cloud specific configurations (load-balance, ingress, high-availability, scale etc.) for different components (db repos no/sql, MQ servers, micro-services, object storages etc.)
Design and implement cloud microservice architectures.
Document and update the design and architecture of projects.
Spreading technical knowledge inside the team.

Technical skills – MUST HAVE

Thorough understanding of Linux fundamentals, microservice based architecture, Web Development fundamentals, NodeJS fundamentals.
Robust knowledge in scripting languages Bash, JavaScript, Python, Groovy.
Deep understanding and extensive working experience in using of version control systems/flows - Git.
Good knowledge in continuous integration tools: Jenkins, Gitlab.
Thorough understanding of CI/CD process.
Understand network specifics - DHCP, DNS, Ingress, routing, high-level protocols (HTTP(S) 1.1, 2.0 AMQP, SSL/TLS) etc.
Understand and first-hand experience in IAS (infrastructure as code) models to solve deployment problems.
Good understanding and experienced implementer of the microservice architecture container based using Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes.
Knowledge of continuous management tools - Ansible.
GitOps, Helm, Terraform, Consul, Vagrant, Envoy, Earthly, Istio.
Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.

Education: Bachelors or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related.
