Automation and Automotive Software are both new and constantly evolving fields. Our everyday life is directly influenced by the constantly developing technology. Acknowledging this, a group of experienced professionals found BeeSpeed in 1994, a company that stands out through its highly qualitative and innovative solutions.

All efforts are directed into designing and implementing state of the art automation systems with superior quality and reliability.

AUTOMOTIVE SOFTWARE area
We are working in the area of embedded Software and Software Tools development for one of the market leading suppliers from the automotive industry.

Developing automotive software systems combines challenges in control engineering and algorithm design with the need for advanced verification and validation techniques to ensure software quality and reliability.

We cover the following areas:

Software and system testing for embedded systems
Test Management - Test Design - Test Creation - Execution and Reporting - Test quality

Software Development
- Development and maintenance of a state of the art tool chain (in .NET). Algorithm development and programming for embedded systems for automotive.

Hardware Development
- Development and maintenance for the HW equipment used for testing and validation (HIL).

Quality and process engineering
Development, implementation and monitoring of the processes, procedures and WIs for the testing activities in order to assure a high level of compliance with the automotive standards, internal, customer and legal requirements.

Besides the fulltime positions for each discipline, we also offer students the opportunity to work with us by taking part in different internship programs. We also provide different internship programs for students interested to work with us.

We also support the academic development as we offer opportunities for students for their degree paper.

1. Junior Embedded Software Developer
Which are the preferred abilities
- Bachelor degree (related to computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable studies)
- Experience in embedded software development for automotive industry
- Knowledge of C programming language, software design tools (e.g. UML) and basic knowledge of analyzing tools (e.g. debuggers, oscilloscope)
- Software knowledge in one of the following areas
- Bus systems (CAN, FlexRay, LIN)
- Diagnostic protocols (UDS, ODX)
- Sensors monitoring and actuators controlling
- Microcontroller Technology
- Good communications skills in English (German is a plus)
What do you have to do
- Design, implement and test software components for braking system control units
- Develop basic software in C programming language or AUTOSAR modelling and configuration tools
- Define and coordinate software interfaces with other software components, taking into account the software architecture requirements and software requirements
- Collaborate with international teams from Germany, U.S.A and Asia for various customer projects

2. Senior Embedded Software Developer
Which are the preferred abilities
- Bachelor degree (related to computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable studies)
- Experience in embedded software development for automotive industry
- Knowledge of C programming language, software design tools (e.g. UML) and analyzing tools (e.g. debuggers, Vector, CANape, CANoe)
- Practical experience from working with relevant standards (ISO26262, Automotive SPICE) as well as knowledge of AUTOSAR
- Software knowledge in one of the following areas
- Bus systems (CAN, FlexRay, LIN)
- Diagnostic protocols (UDS, ODX)
- Sensors monitoring and actuators controlling
- Microcontroller Technology
- Good communications skills in English (German is a plus)

Which are the preferred abilities

- Experience in the field of control engineering on microcontrollers, especially with programming with C, C++ and MatlabSimulink
- Knowledge in the area of software architecture (Rhapsody, UML SysML) is a plus
- Desire to learn, flexibility and willingness to travel and work in an international environment
- Possession of class B driver’s license
- Good communications skills in English (German is a plus)
What do you have to do
- Development of control algorithms for real-time controllers in the field of customer - experienceable functions (performance software)
- New and further development of the brake control functions up to the start of production and reuse in applications for various vehicle manufacturers within the scope of the core software
- Software configuration and version management while adhering to software development processes for core and application-specific subsystem software

4. Database expert
Which are the preferred abilities
- Knowledge of database architecture and modeling
- Problem-solving and good analytical skills
- Bachelor degree (related to software engineering, embedded software, informatics, electrical or electronic engineering)
- Good understanding high interest for automotive systems
- Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
- Creativity, initiative, understanding communication reaction to issues, good teamwork in virtual environments, ability to learn by doing. Analytical skills and learning capacity
- Availability to travel. Ability to work independently, self-discipline, reliability, consistency
What do you have to do
- Mapping out the conceptual design for a planned database
- Considering both back-end organisation of data and front-end accessibility for end-users
- Developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans
- Refining the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model
- Installing and testing new versions of the DBMS
- Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata)
- Establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security
- Monitoring performance and managing parameters to provide fast responses to front-end users
- Controlling access permissions and privileges
- Support the continuous improvement of the processes installed in the development department
- Work on multiple projects in distributed team across different locations


5. Web application developer
Which are the preferred abilities
- JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills
- Bachelor degree (related to software engineering, embedded software, informatics, electrical or electronic engineering)
- Problem-solving and good analytical skills
- Good understanding high interest for automotive systems

- Understanding of UI, general web functions and standards
- Expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and APIs.
- Design user interface and web layout using HTMLCSS practices
- Knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc ..)
- Support the continuous improvement of the processes installed in the development department

6. Software Architect - Braking Control Systems
Which are the preferred abilities
-Bachelor degree (related to computer science, electrical engineering mechatronics or comparable studies)
-Knowledge and experience in embedded software development, preferably in automotive industry
-Familiar with requirements analysis and architectural modeling using UML
-Very good understanding of automotive systems
-Analytical and structured way of working as well as ability to work both independently and in a team
-Desire to learn, flexibility and willingness to travel and work in an international environment
-Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
What do you have to do
-Design, create and maintain the braking system software
-Architecture design for electronic braking control system using UML
- Analyze the product and customer specific requirements
- Define software requirements based on the software architecture
- Integrate functional safety requirements in compliance with ISO26262
- Allocate technical requirements to software components and coordinate the functional interfaces between sub-functions
-Support the software developers in defining the architectural solutions
- Collaborate with global software engineering teams for developing global architectural strategies and solutions

7. Embedded Software Developer- AUTOSAR
Which are the preferred abilities
- Bachelor degree (related to electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science or comparable studies)
-Experience in embedded software development for automotive industry using C programming language or comparable language
-Experience in working with AUTOSAR modelling and configuration tools, debuggers and vehicle bus system
-Knowledge of relevant standards (ISO26262, Automotive SPICE) and knowledge of their practical application
-Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
What do you have to do
-Design AUTOSAR software components for embedded system based on requirements and by using modelling tools
-Integrate and commission the delivered software components
- Design optimization in different areas e.g. resource consumption ( RAM ROM runtime)
- Define and coordinate software interfaces with other software components, taking into account the software architecture requirements and software requirements
-Collaborate with international teams from Germany, U.S.A, and Asia for various customer projects

8. Software Integrator
Which are the preferred abilities
-Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, computer science or comparable qualifications with appropriate professional experience
-Several years of experience in software development, particularly in C programming language (preferably in automotive industry)
-Good understanding of configuration management tools and automatic build servers
-Strong background in PC-based software development for identifying implementing automation solution (JAVA C Scripting Languages etc.)
-Experience with Automotive SPICE and ISO26262
-AUTOSAR knowledge is a plus
-Analytical thinking, good communication skills and strong team player
-Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
What do you have to do
-Plan and implement the integration for internal and external software components
-Adapt and create software configuration and consistency monitoring for different variants of system
-Develop strategies for secure integration
-Collaborate with Software subsystems responsible and the Software Project Manager on software integration and testing aspects

8. Software Requirements Engineer
Which are the preferred abilities

-Experience in requirements based development, especially in derivation, documentation, analysis or coordination of requirements
-Good understanding of technical interrelations for requirements analysis
-Well structured, goal-oriented and independent working abilities
-Automotive standards knowledge (ISO26262, Automotive SPICE, etc.)
-Experience working with IBM DOORS or equivalent tools
-PTC Integrity and UML SysML experience is a plus
-Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
What do you have to do
-Document and manage software requirements for braking system
-Ensure requirements to tests traceability and compliance with ISO26262 and Automotive SPICE
-Derive software requirements from the system requirements, system architecture as well as from other requirements (ex: customer requirements)
-Coordinate the requirements definition using inputs from different stakeholders
-Ensure compliance with the internal software requirements analysis process
-Ensure requirements are correctly defined and documented
-Interface to the stakeholders of the software systems

9. Software Testing Engineer
Which are the preferred abilities
